Chelation / Oxidation Infusion

You've decided you need to take action to improve your vascular health, or you've been diagnosed with vascular disease. What you need is information, so that you can make an informed decision about your health.

How Does Vascular Disease Affect My Health?
When blood vessels become blocked by plaque, blood flow to vital organs is reduced, starving them from oxygen, vitamins, and minerals. The loss of circulation caused by this "hardening of the arteries," also known as arteriosclerosis, can lead to heart disease, stroke, and memory loss. Vascular disease, or blood vessel disease, is a leading cause of death in the United States.

How Does Chelation Therapy Help?
Chelation therapy promotes health by correcting the major underlying cause of arterial blockage. Damaging, oxygen-free radicals increase with the presence of metallic elements and act as a chronic irritant to blood vessel walls and cell membranes. EDTA removes those metallic irritants allowing leaking and damaged cell walls to heal. Arterial walls become softer and more pliable allowing easier expansion. Scientific studies have proven that blood flow increases after chelation therapy. A complete program of chelation therapy involves a broad-based healthcare program of regular exercise, proper nutrition, vitamin and mineral supplementation, and avoidance of tobacco and other damaging habits.

What is Intravenous Oxidative Therapy?
It was Charles H. Farr, MD, PhD, who first characterized the oxidative effects of peroxides in humans in 1984. Today, the use of hydrogen peroxide has spread to over 38 countries and remains one of the most effective oxidative therapies. Hydrogen peroxide is a liquid with the molecular structure of two atoms of hydrogen and two atoms of oxygen (H2O2). Because it is less stable than water, hydrogen peroxide readily enters into oxidative reactions, ultimately becoming oxygen and water.

Oxidation administered through hydrogen peroxide therapy regulates tissue repair, cellular respiration, immune functions, the energy system, most hormone systems, and the production of cytokines. Oxidation therapy can also work as a defense system, directly destroying invading bacteria, viruses, yeast, and parasites.

Now that you've decided this treatment might be for you, we've outlined your fist visit, so you will know what to expect and what to bring with you.

What Will Happen on My First Visit?

  1. You will be given a complete health history form to fill out. This will help the doctor evaluate your overall health condition.
  2. The doctor will review your history form and ask questions to help make determinations about your care.
  3. The doctor or staff member will review with you what has been determined from your health history. They will go over with you testing that will be needed. If you have had recent blood chemistries, an EKG, etc., please bring these with you on your first day.

Please note that most health insurance companies consider nutritional medicine a non-covered service. Our staff will discuss costs and assist you with special financial arrangements that will meet your needs.
